newness of life

there has been a lot of "newness" since my last post; hence the name...

we bought a new home in watkinsville! we absolutely love it here!

i am now a business owner..yikes! it's called TOT.  i will be directing a really fun program for preschoolers.

and........we are not longer dukeri plus ONE...it will be TWO! little Jackson will be a big brother in December!!! i am 12 weeks pregnant! :) we'll find out what it is in july!!!

keri's big night.

So last night Duke's friend called and said he had two tickets to the GA/FL men's basketball game.  Thankfully our friends, Will and Cat, agreed to watch Jackson! We were excited, I have only been to girls' games.  After getting soaked, we were walking down to the 4TH ROW and I saw our seats.  Then I saw who was sitting next to us....COACH LANDERS (women's bball coach).  I was wayyyy more excited about this than the game!  I wanted to play for him so bad when I was little and he reminds me of my high school coach.  So I was all giddy and tried not to stare at him.  It took me almost the entire game to ask for a picture, it was quite funny.  He was super nice though!  The game went into double overtime, pretty exciting, but the dawgs lost.  However, getting my pic with Andy was a success, even though my hair looks terrible!

PS - Jackson slept through the night last, but refuses to drink from a sippy cup - gotta work on that!

well...i'm starting this blog because ashtyn, (applesnpnutbutter.blogspot.com) made me. jk, she did suggest it, but i thought it would be fun too. i recently had a career change, aka "quit teaching to stay at home with my baby boy." so i now i have time to do this. God is doing some amazing things in our lives and i'm excited to share with y'all!

i met my sweet husband at gcsu in milly. we began dating and were engaged in 2007.

i married the BEST man i've ever known in june 2008. i'm so thankful for this handsome man! he's my best friend.

in january 2010, God blessed us with the love of our lives, our precious baby, jack duke gibbs III (jackson)! he is my heart.
